LagodiComo.it is an independent travel guide. It is not a public body, represents no administration and has no institutional ties with the lake's municipalities.

The site's content is updated without a fixed schedule.

Texts and content

The site's texts, entries, itineraries, timelines, light calculations, illustrations, design and logo belong to Gabriele Masetti and are protected by Italian copyright law (Law no. 633 of 22 April 1941).

Short quotations are welcome, with the site's name and a link to the page. Reproducing texts or other content requires written permission, which you can request at info@lagodicomo.it.

Photographs

The photographs are by third-party authors and are published under free licences: public domain, CC0, CC BY or CC BY-SA. The author, licence and original of each are listed in the photograph credits. Anyone reusing a photograph must follow that image's licence.

Practical information

Opening hours, dates, journey times and conditions are checked against official sources and updated regularly, but they can change without notice. Before setting out, check them on the website of the operator or organiser given on each page.

The boat timetables reproduce Navigazione Laghi's sheets in force; the ones Navigazione Laghi publishes are authoritative, together with its notices of strikes, bad weather and timetable changes. A journey with a change joins two separate sailings of the timetable, with a margin for the change chosen by LagodiComo.it: it is not a guaranteed connection. The same holds for train and boat journeys: the train times are those of Trenord's GTFS timetable, and the ones Trenord publishes are authoritative. For the buses, ASF Autolinee's timetables are authoritative.

Walks, hiking paths and swimming in the lake call for checking the day's conditions and following the instructions of the local authorities. To the extent permitted by law, LagodiComo.it accepts no liability for damage arising from the use of the information published.
