Every autumn, from early October to early November, Villa Carlotta at Tremezzo holds its autumn festival, with a programme of workshops and walks in the garden.

The 2026 programme

From 2 October to 8 November 2026 the upper part of the garden has a pumpkin field with the Giant Pumpkin grown by the Club degli Zucconi of Casatenovo, open every day from 10:00 to 17:00, with corners for reading outdoors, play stations and tastings with local producers. Around it runs a calendar of workshops and walks: paper flowers on 10 and 11 October, a walk through the garden with one of the villa's gardeners on the 15th, autumn arrangements on the 17th, Halloween pumpkin carving on the 18th, 24th, 25th, 30th and 31st, a mandala of seeds on 1 November and the winter vegetable garden on the 8th. The workshops are booked on the villa's site.
