Alessio Volontè's photography exhibition in Lecco's Torre Viscontea explores the iron industry along the Gerenzone.

It follows the stream from Laorca to its mouth, through workshops, dams, sluice gates, wheels and channels. Officina Gerenzone APS curates the exhibition with the municipality and the city's museum service. The exhibition rooms are on the first floor, reached only by stairs with a handrail.

The programme

The exhibition runs from Saturday 24 October to Sunday 15 November 2026, with an opening event on Friday 23 October at 18:00. The tower opens on Thursdays from 10:00 to 13:00, Fridays and Saturdays from 14:00 to 18:00 and Sundays from 10:00 to 18:00. Guided tours are planned for 7 and 14 November.
