The Centomiglia del Lario is the lake's powerboat race: first held in 1949, it has been run every year since and postponed only once, for a flood.

The public watches from the shore with no ticket: from the Villa Olmo and Villa Geno promenades, from Cernobbio, Torno and Blevio.

The programme for the 2026 edition

The seventy-seventh edition runs from 8 to 11 October 2026. The paddock is in the old riding ground of Villa Erba at Cernobbio and the jury sits at the Yacht Club Como; both are for teams, members and guests only. The programme for each day is on the organisers' site.
