What the two pictures show

The bronze statue, the pedestal with its relief and the wreath at its foot are the same. In the photochrom the monument is surrounded by a low railing, with two- and three-storey houses behind, one bearing the words “Hôtel al Monte di Brianza”. In the photograph the pedestal stands between two beds edged with hedges, with a block of flats of many storeys and balconies behind.
