Why go

Palazzo Lambertenghi was built at the start of the seventeenth century by joining several older buildings; work was still under way in 1618.

It belonged to the Lambertenghi until the eighteenth century, then to the Guaita, the Lucini Passalacqua and finally the Galli di Rondineto family. The large twentieth-century restorations lost almost all the seventeenth-century decoration, but Giovan Battista Recchi's fresco remains in the ground-floor hall facing the garden. The palazzo is private property and opens only for events; from the street you see the rusticated stone portal and, through the entrance hall, the gate onto the courtyard.
