The Barcolario is a non-competitive sailing gathering run by the UISP Comitato Territoriale Lariano, open to boats of every kind, from one-designs to cruisers.
It takes place every year at the start of autumn, over one afternoon, from Bellano to Dongo, between the two shores of the lake.
The programme for the 2026 edition
On Saturday 3 October 2026 the sixth Barcolario brings the sails to the middle and upper lake. The boats gather at 13:30 at Bellano's pier and start at 14:00. In mid-afternoon they round the mark at La Gaeta, north of Menaggio, then the one at Domaso, and come in from 18:00 at Dongo, at the Bersaglio, by the Marvelia sailing centre. You watch from the shore, at any of these points.
