The Skyrace runs from Bellagio's lakefront up to Monte San Primo; the Half Skyrace climbs as far as Monte Nuvolone.
The programme for the 2026 edition
The twelfth edition is on Sunday 25 October 2026. Bibs can also be collected the day before, Saturday the 24th, from 16:00 to 18:00. At 8:50 both races leave together from the Lungolago Europa: the Skyrace, 29 kilometres with 1,850 metres of climbing up to the 1,682-metre summit of Monte San Primo, and the Half Skyrace, 16.8 kilometres and 970 metres up to the Belvedere of Monte Nuvolone, at 1,016 metres. Children aged 5 to 11 have the Mini Skyrace, non-competitive, in the gardens of Villa Melzi. The first Half runners are expected at the finish around 10:30 and the first Skyrace runners around 11:30; the last finisher is in by 14:30. Prizes are given at 15:30 in the sports hall.
