Why go

Lido di Lenno is a beach on the gulf bounded to the south by the Dosso di Lavedo, the headland of Villa del Balbianello.

Taxi boats to the villa leave from the lido, by reservation and subject to availability. On foot, the villa is about twenty-five minutes away along a one-kilometre uphill path, partly on gravel, or about three quarters of an hour along the two-and-a-half-kilometre walking route. The water in front of the lido received an excellent bathing-water classification in every season from 2015 to 2025. The beach is at Via Comoedia 1, overlooking the gulf of Lenno, with Isola Comacina further south.
