Gera una Volta is the book fair that the Comune di Gera Lario has run every September since 2025 with the association Libri in Valle, in the park by the harbour car park.

There are author talks, workshops, a treasure hunt and a cosplay gathering.

The programme for the 2026 edition

On Friday 18 and Saturday 19 September 2026 the fair runs over two days. On Friday, from 9:00 to 18:30, there are workshops for schools in the morning and author talks open to all, among them Alessandro Barbaglia and Christian Hill. On Saturday, from 9:30 to 18:30, there are the treasure hunt, a meeting with Francesca Tortorella, the contest of the second cosplay gathering at 15:30, bouncy castles for children and a tasting of local cheeses. In bad weather it moves under the marquee.
