Why go

Madonna di Loreto is Lanzo's sanctuary inspired by the Holy House of Loreto and linked to the cult of the Black Madonna.

Pietro Spazzi worked on the building in 1673; its inauguration followed in 1678. The portico has frescoes attributed to the Carloni circle. The façade features pilasters, stone cornices and a statue of Our Lady of Loreto. Inside, the altar has a coloured scagliola frontal, a technique that imitates marble with a plaster-based mixture.
