Why go

San Biagio is Musso's parish church, with a nave and two aisles divided by columns of local white marble.

A twelfth-century church dedicated to Saints Nazaro and Celso became a parish church in 1387 under the name San Biagio. The present building bears the date 1507 on its portal. The nave has an open timber roof; the aisles have groin vaults. Paintings by Battista Malacrida survive at the entrance, including Saint Anthony Abbot dated 1502. The bell tower dates from 1730; the nineteenth-century frescoes are by Luigi Tagliaferri.

  • The doorway lunettes with the life of Saint Blaise, and the 1730 bell tower on the road.
