Lecco
Dates confirmed by the organiser.
The exhibition, conceived by the Comune di Lecco and its museum system and curated by Barbara Cattaneo, Luigi Erba and Roberto Mutti, brings together the pictures of eight photographers who documented Italy's rock festivals of the 1970s, alongside the posters of the graphic designer Gianfranco Iliprandi. The exhibition starts close to Lecco: on 25 and 26 September 1971, in a meadow at Montalbano, the Festival di Re Nudo was born, planned for two thousand people and reached by twelve thousand; it was photographed by Aldo Manessier from Lecco, a founder of the Foto Club Lecco. Then come Zerbo in 1972 and the Milan editions from 1974, in pictures by, among others, Gabriele Basilico and Giovanna Calvenzi, Silvia Lelli and Roberto Masotti, and Dino Fracchia. It is on show in the Fototeca of Palazzo delle Paure, on Piazza XX Settembre.
From 29 November 2025 to 17 January 2027 the exhibition is open on Tuesdays from 10:00 to 14:00 and from Wednesday to Sunday from 10:00 to 18:00. Admission is by ticket.
