For the Alessandro Volta bicentenary, Como's Teatro Sociale clears the seats out of its stalls and becomes, for one day, a “cittadella della scienza”, a little city of science.
Every room, from the stalls to the boxes and the foyer, has workshops, games, treasure hunts and escape rooms for children and teenagers. There are also experiments, talks and screenings. The theatre prepares the day with the University of Insubria, the Politecnico di Milano and many other local organisations and associations. Outside, there is a guided walk to Volta's places in the old town. Entry and activities are free.
