Moltrasio's patronal feast
The feast of the patron saint San Martino in Moltrasio in November.
Carate Urio
The church of Santi Quirico e Giulitta is Urio's lakeside parish church.
It was rebuilt in 1865 after repeated floods from the Pangino stream.
The twelfth-century Romanesque bell tower survives from the earlier building, with two tiers of windows divided by a small column. The interior has a single nave with side chapels. It holds two Renaissance panels, depicting Saints Roch and Dominic and the Assumption, alongside sixteenth- and seventeenth-century canvases. An Immaculate Conception follows Morazzone's iconography. The forecourt overlooks the lake.
