At Nosée, above Nesso towards Tronno, the stream that further down forms the gorge gathers in a large pool beneath a double-arched stone bridge; further on, among the stones, is a second pool, the Pozzo dei Ladri.

Why go

Nosée lies above Nesso, on the road to the hamlet of Tronno.

Here runs the stream of the Nosée valley, which further down meets the Valle di Tuf and forms the deep gorge of the Orrido di Nesso.

At Nosée the water gathers in a large natural pool right beneath a double-arched stone bridge; it then carries on among the stones and forms a second pool, the Pozzo dei Ladri, the thieves' well. The Nosée bridge is one of the village's historic bridges, along with the Civera bridge, which spans the gorge above the lake, and the Riva bridge.
