Dates confirmed by the organiser.

The Elmore Quartet, a young British string quartet and winner of the Royal Over-Seas League's 2026 String Ensembles Award, plays Beethoven's Quartet op. 18 no. 2 and Ravel's Quartet in F major at the Tempio Voltiano.

The concert is part of “Musica e Energia nel segno di Volta”, Le Dimore del Quartetto's series that sets Beethoven's music beside Volta's thought on the way to the bicentenary of the scientist's death in 2027. Like every concert in the series, it is introduced by science students of the Università dell'Insubria. Entry is free, booked online, while places last.

The programme

On Wednesday 11 November 2026, at 19:00, the Elmore Quartet gives the second of the three concerts of the series, in its third edition. The third is on Wednesday 2 December, with the Turicum Quartet.
