Madonna della Neve, Pianello del Lario

It was rebuilt over an earlier building in the first half of the eighteenth century at the wish of the Tre Terre communities: Coslia, Scarpagiano and Rovezzano. Emigrants in the Genoa area and the Veneto belonging to the Compagnia dei Genovesi contributed in particular. A small porch precedes the entrance; the bell tower was added in the late nineteenth century. Above the altar is the nursing Virgin with Saints Roch and Sebastian; the vault depicts the Assumption and Resurrection.
