L'altra faccia della Luna
An exhibition at Palazzo delle Paure on the seventies and the utopia of the rock festivals, in pictures by eight photographers.
Valmadrera
A granite erratic about seven metres high, carried by the glaciers from the Val Masino to a site 647 metres above sea level on the slopes above Valmadrera: a regional natural monument since 1984, with the little church of Sant'Isidoro using the rock as its back wall.
Sasso di Preguda is a glacial erratic of ghiandone granite on the slopes of Moregallo, at 647 metres above sea level in Valmadrera.
About seven metres high, it was carried more than eighty kilometres by glaciers from Val Masino. It has been a regional natural monument since 1984; a plaque recalls the work of geologist Antonio Stoppani. The church of Sant'Isidoro stands against its southern face, built between 1895 and 1899 after a livestock epidemic. The rock forms the church's rear wall and apse. The plateau overlooks the Lecco branch, the Brianza lakes, Resegone and San Martino.
