The monument to Antonio Stoppani is a bronze statue on Lecco's lakefront, dedicated to the priest and geologist who wrote Il Bel Paese.
Michele Vedani made the figure, while Mino Fiocchi designed the base. Stoppani faces the lake with his right hand at his chin. The monument was unveiled on 25 September 1927, the same day as the monument to Mario Cermenati. It originally stood in the lakeside gardens; road widening led to its move to the present square in 1933. Behind it is an exedra, a semicircular space in red brick, with a fountain on each side.
